Must Have Bachelorette Party Essentials

Bachelorette Party Essentials

Tip: If you want to have a good time, bring the wine!

Believe it or not, wedding season is right around the corner. And if you’re planning your own — congrats! The big day will be here before you know it, and until then there’s plenty of planning to do. No, we aren’t talking about the wedding. We’re talking about the other party … the big one with your gal pals that is meant to be ALL fun and no stress.

Of course, a stress-free bachelorette party is only possible with super fun essentials.

First step: Ask if family/friends will be your bridesmaids. There’s three ways to do this, either call them up and give them the good news, send them a card, or give the people what they really want — a.k.a. wine to celebrate.

Once you have your bridal party, nail down a good location for the bachelorette party (in-town celebrations work just as well) and give everyone plenty of notice. It’s not fun finding a last-minute flight, or paying extra for the only hotel suite that’s available. Delegate the best planner in the group to make the reservations, whether it’s for a campground, nice dinner out, or any activities the group plans on doing. The more you and your crew plan ahead, the more relaxed you’ll be! And then you can start packing all of the fun stuff …

WINE

Or beer, or liquor … but let’s be honest, wine is the best. If you’re driving somewhere, order canned wine and bring it along so you don’t need to worry about stopping at a liquor store later. This is a smart move for camping trips, lakehouse getaways, or if you have a beach close by. Once everyone arrives, crack open a can and cheers to your squad standing by your side.

MATCHING T-SHIRTS

Is there anything better than walking around town and everyone knowing you all are there to have a good time? Of course not, and the best way to do this is to bring everyone together with bachelorette party t-shirts. Custom make everyone’s shirt to include their nickname, or simply commit to the location like a country theme for Nashville and a wizard theme for Harry Potter World (there’s a shirt for anything, trust us). Order ahead of time, then surprise everyone on the trip with the outfit they absolutely must wear. No exceptions.

MATCHING KOOZIES

Keep the matching trend going with handy koozies designed to keep everyone’s drink cold. If pink isn’t your vibe, no worries. There are hundreds of options online with different designs and colors, so you can get the exact type you’re looking for. Bonus — matching bachelorette koozies make those photos with drinks in the background way better.

POLAROID CAMERA

You know the saying, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? With a Polaroid camera, you don’t need to worry about anyone else seeing those late-night photos in the archives on your phone. Break out the instant camera and make a scrapbook after the weekend is said and done. Or give them out to your bridesmaids as mementos. After all, the best souvenirs are memories and this camera is guaranteed to capture the best (and funniest!) moments with your favorite people.

WIGS

Certainly not required … but wigs are 100% a good idea (just ask Moira Rose). Give everyone a heads up ahead of time so they have plenty of time to figure out their alter ego for the night. Warning: Don’t plan on packing these as a surprise, or else you’ll end up with a suitcase full of multicolored hair and no room for anything else.

HANGOVER KIT

It’s not just about being prepared — it shows your party people you truly care about them. By packing a stash of Ibuprofen and electrolyte packets that everyone can dip into if needed, you’ve set the bar for bachelorette parties to come. Watch as everyone has fun all weekend long.
